Hall, Stairs and Landing Plastered
Often people only find out what condition their walls are in after they strip wallpaper when they are redecorating. Wallpaper can hide blemishes and undulations that are obvious on a painted surface. Having walls skimmed with a thin coat of fresh plaster will create a smooth, flat surface that is ready to be painted and covers over any damage that the wallpaper was previously hiding. Here the customer had done just that and the walls were clearly in need of plastering. We started upstairs and fully plastered the ceiling and landing walls. Then came the tricky long, main stairwell wall. Due to the nature of this wall, numerous hop ups, scaffold boards and ladders are needed to complete probably the most tricky area in a house. Once complete the downstairs hall was plaster skimmed fully to create a lovely smooth surface ready for decorating. A perfect way to finish the area off nicely and another happy customer who came to us from another customer recommendation. Word of mouth recommendations always make us pleased.
